What are you living for?

Is it for your next big purchase? Or perhaps your next promotion? Or maybe it’s that next “atta boy/girl.” Whatever IT is, I used to be right there with you.

I found myself chasing the next business deal or the most expensive product all in the hopes I would find fulfillment in my material success. But, at the end of the day I was unsatisfied. I wanted more out of life.

What if I told you that the first step to living a High Impact LIFE, is focusing on something greater than yourself?

It’s just that simple.

How do you live for something greater than yourself?

It’s the easiest, most difficult thing you’ll ever do. For those who believe in a biblical world view, it’s a two-step process.

Step 1: Choose to exalt the Creator instead of the created. Put another way, you choose to give the glory to God. Recognize that at the end of the day you’re not being evaluated by a success or failure standard. You’re being evaluated by a Kingdom Standard. Did you serve people well? Did you steward the resources you were given? Did you pursue excellence?

Step 2: Repeat Step 1 indefinitely.

Simple right?

I’ve been working on doing this to the best of my ability for the last two decades—and I’m making progress every day.

At the end of every day, ask yourself these four questions:

- Did I honor God?

- Did I serve people well?

- Did I steward the resources I was given?

- Did I pursue excellence?

Are you ready to redefine your Work/LIFE balance and Love Your Purpose, Live with Passion, and Leverage Your Platform?
